Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
This is a sweet story for fans of Harry Potter and any fantasy or action books. Simon Snow is the worst chosen one ever to be chosen, at least that’s what his menacing and annoying roommate Baz says. The guy didn’t even bother to show up! With the an evil force on the rise and a break-up with his long term girlfriend, Simon must somehow find a way to keep from going and carry on to see the light on the other side. This story is a great escape from the hectic world that we live in now and reminds us that there is always light on the other side of the tunnel if we can hold just a little longer. I think anyone who’s having a hard with COVID can relate to this. A great read 🙂
