Agenda is being finalized but will include:
- PLW Business Meeting
- Washington State Legislative Update with our legislative liaison Abby Moore
- Workshop / discussion on Public Records Requests
- Workshop on working with the media
- Updates from UW iSchool, Washington State Library, and Washington Library Association
- Input session for PLW website
- Strategy session for eBook advocacy
- Camaraderie, commiseration, and cheer!
Registration fee is $75 and includes beverages, snacks, and lunches on Thursday and Friday.
Thursday dinner and Friday breakfast will be your responsibility, as are accommodations. You must make hotel or other accommodation reservations yourself. You may want to consider getting together with several of your colleagues and reserving a VRBO or Airbnb. There are some great options available, try searching for Winthrop, Twisp, or Mazama. Consider arriving Wednesday evening and perhaps staying until Saturday to maximize your time in this scenic part of the state. Several of us plan on hiking on Saturday if you’d like to join us.
