Love to write, rhyme, or haiku? If you write poetry, we want it! 

Poems long or short, funny or serious will be considered for publication in our teen poetry book, A Forest of Words. Selected poets will recieve a copy of the book and bragging rights. 

You can drop off your entry at any library branch.  Pick up an entry form at the library or download a printable version here. You can also submit using our online form.

To Participate You Need To

  • Live in Whatcom County
  • Be in 6th-12th grade
  • Submit your entry by Sunday, February 14, 2016
