Sherman Alexie, who turns 46 this month, is the author of the National Book Award winning The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian and many other acclaimed novels and short stories. In a new collection, Blasphemy, he once examines the Native-American experience. Known for his hilarious yet poignant depictions of life on the reservation, Alexie writes about characters battling stereotypes, racism, and most of all questions about heritage and identity. This new collection will please Alexie fans and give new readers a chance to sample his perceptive observations on Native-American life.
