Jacket images from five King family novels - Double Feature, Save Yourself, NOS4A2, Joyland, and Doctor Sleep

It was pretty well-publicized that Joe Hill was blockbuster author Stephen King's son from the hype that accompanied publication of his first novel, Heart-Shaped Box, in 2007.  (Hill's full name is Joseph Hillstrom King; the pen name Joe Hill does refer to the firing squad executed labor leader for whom he was named.)  But did you know that King's family boasts several other novelists as well, and that four of the five novelists in the family have books being published this year?  Younger brother Owen King published his first novel, Double Feature, in March, and Owen's wife Kelly Braffet's third novel Save Yourself is released this week.  Joe's NOS4A2 came out earlier this year, as did Stephen's Joyland, and Doctor Sleep (sequel to The Shining) is expected in September. No news on whether Tabitha King, Stephen's wife, is working on anything for publication.  For more King family stories, check out the New York Times Magazine recent interview.
