Meeting Schedule: Third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Blaine Library.
Ongoing and holiday book sales, Blaine Library Hero t-shirts and buttons, youth program  resources, food, and prizes, Blaine Library 4th of July Float, summer reading resource support, bookmarks and book bags, journals, monthly newspaper ads, local history preservation.

July 4th Book Sale, Blaine Holiday Harbor Lights Book Sale, Wings over Water Festival


  • Draw attention to the inadequacy of the current library building and the need for expansion or a new facility, in order to better serve the needs of the community.
  • Utilize the Blaine Library Hero campaign to heighten awareness of the Blaine Library's positive role in the community.
  • Increase use of social media, e.g. Facebook and, for marketing resources, FOBL events, and fundraising activities.
  • Work together with the City of Blaine and WCLS in preparing a full researched, comprehensive library facility project plan for the community's vote in 2016.
  • Investigate viable grant funding source options and submit applications accordingly.
