Anytime Library logoIt’s a great time to visit your library online! The Washington State Library has granted $125,000 in federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds to the Washington Anytime Library consortium to add additional eBook and digital audiobook titles to the consortium’s collection.

eBook library userThe funds must be spent before the end of September, which means local library eBook and eAudiobook users will be seeing almost $21,000 a week in new materials at the Washington Anytime Library during the next few weeks. Librarians at Whatcom County Library System and the Bellingham Public Library were chosen to select the additional titles for the consortium.

Washington Anytime Library users should be really noticing these new titles!  Already, over $51,000 in eBooks and digital audiobooks for adults, teens, and kids have been purchased – that’s 1,663 new titles and additional copies of some eBooks with waiting lists.

Spread the word – our digital collection will be rich with new selections in the coming weeks! To learn more about eBooks and digital audiobooks visit online at http://WCLS.org/download-eBooks.
