Whatcom County readers have a great opportunity to see and hear Cheryl Strayed in person and take part in a live-broadcast radio show when she is the featured guest on the Village Books Chuckanut Radio HourWild, Strayed's account of her Pacific Crest Trail hiking adventure, is the current selection for Oprah's Book Club 2.0, so it has of course been wildly popular (trail and childhood photos).  Strayed is also Sugar—the once-anonymous online columnist at The Rumpus—who dispenses wise advice on everything from cheating lovers to financial woes.  Tiny Beautiful Things collects the best of Dear Sugar in essays that grapple with life's biggest questions with grace, compassion and humor.  The radio hour on July 24th will celebrate both of these new books—ticket, date/time and location information here
