Applications are available at our Administrative Offices and branch locations, or you may download or complete an Employment Application form online*. The employment history form is available if you need more space than the application provides.
* The Employment Application form is designed to be completed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. You may save the data you enter into the Employment Application form for future reference. The reader is free and can be downloaded from the Adobe Systems web site. Please note that completing the Employment Application with Apple Preview is not recommended.
A completed and signed Whatcom County Library System Application is required for each position applied for and must be received via mail, e-mail, or delivery by 5:00 p.m. on the closing date unless otherwise indicated by the job posting.
Incomplete applications or applications not received by the posted deadline on the closing date may disqualify you. Resumes and letters of interest are optional, unless requested, and will not be accepted as a substitute for a completed application.
Applications will be screened and applicants who best match the needs of posted positions will be contacted if they are selected for an interview. The hiring process may take a minimum of 4 to 8 weeks.
