Christy Award logoThe 13th annual Christy Awards were announced last night at the organization's annual dinner, which was emceed by author Liz Curtis Higgs. The Christy Awards were first awarded in 2000, and each year since have honored excellent Christian fiction in a variety of categories.  This year's winners are:

Words by Ginny Yttrup (First Novel)

The Maid of Fairbourne Hall by Julie Klassen (Historical Romance)
The Queen by Steven James (Suspense)
Veiled Rose by Anne Elisabeth Stengl (Visionary)
Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren (Young Adult)
